Completing homework is essential to the success of individual pupils and the classroom community. It gives pupils the opportunity to extend their learning independently and to reinforce what has been learned in class. Homework is a major part of a child’s learning which parents can support directly. Parents should ask pupils about their homework and check pupils’ homework every day in order to help pupils create good habits by the end of Phase 3.
