In July 2016, David Cameron visited Reach Academy Feltham on his last day in office (video below) and announced that he was approving a second Reach Academy in Feltham.
The school will be an all-through school serving pupils from 2 to 18 and will be located on the site of the current Ministry of Defence base. It will open to serve the growth in population expected in Feltham in the coming years.
The Reach Academy Trust hope to publish a programme for the school's opening in Autumn 2019, once the site has been acquired by the Department for Education. The school will offer more families in Feltham the opportunity to attend Reach, and means that when the school is full the Trust will be educating 2,300 young people across Feltham.
