Reach hosts successful conference for teachers and leaders

And we're offMore than two hundred teachers, school leaders, social entrepreneurs and policy-makers descended on Reach during half-term and learn, connect and collaborate.

The conference was the biggest that Reach has organised and gave people the chance to learn about the work that we do, with Rebecca leading a session on our exceptional GCSE results, Tilly Browne one on our approach to Literacy and Jon Brunskill on Primary curriculum design. In addition to these attendees got to learn about topics as diverse as artificial intelligence, the Montessori approach and the state of education in prisons. We were delighted to welcome colleagues other new schools, Dixons Trinity, School 21, ELAM, Logic Studio School and King Solomon Academy, as well as Paddington Academy, Totteridge Academy and Wyvil Primary School and a host of charities and social enterprises.

We had terrific feedback on the event, with incredibly positive responses:Would you come again

“There were lots of highlights of the day. One that particularly stands out is the knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication of the Reach team. I did not manage to get to get to the Heads panel as I was in another session however there is so much learning that many could take so thanks so much for sharing your experience and expertise”

“A brilliant atmosphere and a great opportunity to network.”Overall
