On Saturday, Reach Academy Feltham hosted our first Cultural Carnival, welcoming pupils, parents and staff to the school for an event organised by our City Year team of volunteers. The event included a range of activities, including making masks, dream catchers and necklaces indoors, and hook a duck, limbo, hula and an innovative continents game that Matt invented and is in the process of patenting! The culmination of the day was a series of highly competitive egg and spoon races! Everyone brought delicious food and a fantastic time was had by all. Year 7s raised awareness about the different schemes they are currently running as part of their enterprise ‘tenner’ project.
A big thank you to everyone who came and to our great City Year team for organising such a terrific day.

A brilliant trip for Year 4 today. WE SAW THE QUEEN... briefly. Then we reflected on the transfer of power from monarchy to Parliament (that was Ed's bit), and then we visited Westminster Abbey and recreated the coronation.
Everyone we met on the trip agreed that Year 4 know A LOT about medieval Kings and Queens. ... See MoreSee Less
