Reach Academy Feltham has announced changes to its leadership structure in advance of the next stage of the school’s evolution.
In 2016 the Trust was approved to start a second school in Feltham which will open in the next few years. The second school will have the same structure and ethos as Reach Academy and will be based on the MoD site behind the school. In addition, over the past year we have made huge progress in developing the vision and outline for the Reach Hub, which will offer cradle to career support for the whole community.
In order to prepare for these changes, Ed Vainker and Rebecca Cramer will be stepping into broader roles within The Reach Foundation. Ed will be stepping into the role of Executive Headteacher and Rebecca will be stepping into the role of Director of Education.
We are therefore advertising for an all-through Headteacher to take up the post in September 2018. Both Rebecca and Ed will remain heavily involved in the school’s work, and will ensure that there is no adverse impact on Reach Academy Feltham. The wider Foundation will strengthen our organisation and provide additional expertise and capacity that will benefit our pupils.
Please contact Hannah Whittenham (Operations Director) via email at Hannah.firstname.lastname@example.org for an Application form for the Headteacher role.
This is an exciting time to come and work at Reach: our Sixth Form opened in September, we will have a new Year 6 in 2018 and there is the prospect of a second Reach Academy in the near future.
